Where are you located?
I live on the traditional, unceded territory of the Sinixt, the Ktunaxa, and the Sylix people, in a beautiful mountain known as Nelson, British Columbia. I am originally from the maritimes, and lived in Ottawa, Ontario for 15 years before moving West.
I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists in Ontario. I can see clients as a psychotherapist virtually in Ontario and British Columbia (which is currently an unregulated province).
As a yoga therapist, I am registered with the International Association of Yoga Therapists and can see clients from anywhere.

What is yoga therapy?
Yoga therapy sessions typically begin with a check-in. You may come knowing how you are feeling already, or I can help you explore this with a guided self-inquiry practice that gentle explores your physical, energetic, mental/emotional, intuitive and spiritual experience.
Based on your experience, we will respond with yoga practice especially curated to support you in the moment. This may include:
yoga philosophy applications (incl. yamas & niyamas), postures and movement (asana), breath practices (pranyama), meditation (dhyana & dharana), self-reflection (svadhyaya),and guided rest practices (savasana, yoga nidra).

Do you accept insurance?
While I don’t currently offer direct billing, I can provide psychotherapy receipts which you can submit for reimbursement from your provider.
I recommend double checking that your insurance specifically covers “psychotherapy”, as some providers cover only psychologists or have other specifications, including registration of location.
